Isaiah 17:2-4

2 The cities [a]of (A)Aroer are forsaken;
They will be for (B)flocks, and they will lie down in them;
And there will be (C)no one to cause them to tremble.
3 And the [b](D)fortified city will cease from Ephraim,
And [c]sovereignty from Damascus
And the remnant of Aram;
They will be like the (E)glory of the sons of Israel,”
Declares Yahweh of hosts.

4 Now it will be in that day, that the (F)glory of Jacob will [d]wane,
And (G)the fatness of his flesh will become lean.
